The Danville Sea Devils has a swim meet against the Round Hill Heat on Tuesday, July 15 at Round Hill Country Club, located at 3169 Round Hill Road in Alamo. Sea Devils warm ups will take place from 4:45 to 5:15 PM, and the meet will begin at 5:30 PM in an 8 lane pool. Families should plan to arrive early for parking in the club lots or nearby streets and be careful not to block fire lanes. Sea Devils families will set up on the north side of the pool under the large oak tree on the grass area, with designated table space for 15–18 swimmers near the lap pool. Food and full meals will be available for purchase, but due to club rules, no outside drinks are permitted, although small snacks and drinks for swimmers are allowed. The Danville Sea Devils has a swim meet against the Springbrook Hogs on Saturday, July 18 at 3200 Stanley Boulevard in Lafayette. Sea Devils warm ups will take place from 8:30 to 9:00 AM, and the meet will begin at 9:00 AM in a 25 yard, 8 lane pool, with Sea Devils swimmers competing in lanes 1, 3, 5, and 7. Families should plan to arrive early and be ready for their assigned warm up times. The meet will follow a standard order of events beginning with the 15–18 50 yard freestyle, and swimmers may enter up to three events including the IM. As a team, we do not typically push too hard for the Last Chance Meet because VSA is the following weekend, and we want swimmers to stay rested, focused, and ready for the full week of team activities leading into VSA. Our priority remains our dual meets, Woodlands Invitational, and VSA. For Sea Devils team purposes, Last Chance times will only count toward Contra Costa County qualifying times and will not be used for VSA entries, VSA relays, team records, or team placement decisions. Coaches recommend that swimmers only attend if they are within approximately 1 second of the County qualifying time for a 25-yard race and within approximately 2 seconds for 50- or 100-yard races. Some Junior Coaches will attend and any Apprentice Coaches participating will help send swimmers off for starts during warm-ups and support our 8 & Under swimmers during the meet. Families are responsible for paying their own meet fees. The cost is a $12 splash fee plus $10 per event. If open lanes are available at the meet, they may be added for $12 per event. Please note that no refunds or credits will be given for no-shows or scratches. |

🚘 • SPIRIT WEEK - CAR PAINTING

Car Painting is a fun Spirit Week activity that kicks off Spirit Week for the Sea Devils. Families and swimmers can decorate their cars to show team pride, with stencils of the Sea Devils trident logo and other team logos available to help create bold, spirited designs. This activity is weather dependent, and if conditions are wet or rainy, the date may be adjusted to ensure a safe and successful event. |

Tie Dye is a fun Spirit Week activity for the Danville Sea Devils where swimmers choose their colors and volunteers help spread the dye across each shirt. Parents will receive instructions to complete the process at home during the wash. The finished shirts are designed to be worn together at the VSA Championship Swim Meet, creating a strong, unified team look and building Sea Devils spirit heading into championship week. |

👹 • LITTLE DEVILS SWIM MEET

The Little Devil Swim Meet is a celebration of learning and growth for our youngest swimmers. Throughout the season, coaches work with swimmers in small practice groups, which are assigned after the first day of practice. Families are notified by email regarding their swimmer’s practice group placement. At the Little Devils Swim Meet, swimmers will have the opportunity to show off what they have learned over the course of the season. In the water, instructors will be present to support and guide swimmers during the meet. This event is designed to be positive, supportive, and fun, giving Little Devils a chance to celebrate their achievements and build confidence in a swim meet setting. |

👫 • SPIRIT WEEK - PARENT TIME TRIALS

This Spirit Week event is a time for parents to shine, get involved, and pump up swimmers. Parents and swimmers switch roles for the night, with parents becoming the racers and swimmers serving as the timers. Parents will participate in 25-yard time trials at the VSA Championships, giving them a chance to earn times and get to know their potential relay teammates. The goal is to field a mom's team and a dad's team. Parents interested in participating should email Coach Greg and Coach Jen to get their names on the list and register for the event. |

🎤 • SPIRIT WEEK - LIP SYNC

Lip Sync is a high energy Spirit Week activity for the Danville Sea Devils where swimmers and families come together to perform fun, creative lip sync routines. Individuals or groups choose a song, plan simple choreography, and bring the enthusiasm as they perform for teammates. This event is all about creativity, teamwork, and confidence, and it is a favorite way to build excitement, laughter, and Sea Devils pride during Spirit Week. Groups must sign up in advance in order to participate in the lip sync. To make the event more inclusive and give both new and returning swimmers a chance to participate and get to know each other, each 10 and under age group will have its own lip sync. Age group lip sync practices will take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday immediately following their regular swim practice. |

Poster Decorating Day is a Spirit Week activity where Danville Sea Devils swimmers come together to create posters that celebrate team pride and unity. The team will provide all materials, including posters, stencils, markers, and other decorating supplies, making it easy for every swimmer to participate. The posters will be hung up at the VSA Championship Swim Meet and used to bring age groups and the entire team together. This is a chance for swimmers to show off their creativity, motivate their teammates, and proudly represent the Sea Devils and this year’s team theme while building a strong sense of connection and spirit across the team. |

As we gear up for VSA Championship Weekend, we'd love to invite our Apprentice & Junior Coaches to join us for an evening of food, fun, and one of our favorite Sea Devils traditions! The kids will enjoy a delicious pasta dinner before heading out to spread a little Championship Swim Fairy magic throughout our community (Shhhh it's a surprise for our youngest swimmers!). They'll deliver goodie bags, leave a sprinkle of fairy dust, and help our youngest Sea Devils head into VSA Championships feeling excited, confident, and supported by their team. It's a fun bonding night for them and a fun way for our older swimmers to encourage and support the youngest members of our team. |
