Why is fundraising so important to our team, and what are our goals?
The Danville Sea Devils is a non-profit organization that is fully funded by registration fees and donations. Our program is not supported or subsidized by a homeowners' association (HOA) or a Country Club. Our team is responsible for all pool and operational costs. Historically, an average of 94% of the registration fees were used to cover coaches' salaries and facility costs. In addition, there are other fees and transnational costs that we have to cover, leaving little to no support for our swimmers. In previous years, we have had to draw on our reserves to provide the necessary support to the team and its families. The Sea Devils strive to promote a fun, spirited atmosphere, which includes the addition of social events, a junior coach/apprentice coach program, and team spirit activities. We truly appreciate your consideration in donating (either monetarily or in-kind) to the team to support our swimmers and coaches.

What happens if we don't reach our goal?
Suppose we do not reach our fundraising goal during the registration period. In that case, we will eliminate items from our program that have historically been covered by the team, such as social events, swim fairies, and/or our end-of-season trophies.
