Head Coach Greg Rodriguez
Hello! I am Coach Greg and I have been coaching swimming and water polo in the Tri Valley for over a decade. I started swimming at Blackhawk then went on to swim and play water polo at Del La Salle. From there I played club water polo at the University of Arizona. Upon returning from the University of Arizona I obtained my teaching credential and masters in education. I taught at Mount Diablo High School and now I teach at Dublin High School. While was I was teaching at Mount Diablo High School and Dublin High School I coached swimming and water polo at Monte Vista High School. I am currently the head swim coach at Dublin High. For the last 6 seasons I coached at Diablo Country Club and before that at Blackhawk Country Club. I am excited to start coaching at the Danville Sea Devils and meet all the great families that I have heard about on this swim team!
Coach Jen Moirao
I have been coaching for over 16 years for the Danville Sea Devils and previously the Blackhawk HOX. I have coached a wide range of swimmers ranging in age from 2 - 19 years old. While at Blackhawk I developed the Mini Hox, an into an intro to swim team program, for younger swimmers. It is exciting to watch children start out at a young age develop and love for swimming. When I am not around the pool I am a third grade teacher in Dublin. I enjoy running and taking trips to Disneyland! I am looking forward to a fun season!
Coach Jack Brown
I began my swim career with the Springwood Sprinters where I swam from ages 5-18 and I spent 4 summers coaching, 3 of which I was the head coach. I attended Clayton Valley High School where I swam and played water polo for four years. Then I went on to study Kinesiology at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where I played water polo for the men's club team all four years and was head coach of the women's club water polo team for 3 years. In addition, I have been coaching for 680 Water Polo Club the past two years. Last summer I joined the Danville Sea Devils and I am excited to return for the 2019 season!
Coach Brent Reed
I have coached most recently at Dublin High School as an assistant coach for the past 2 years, where I am also a teacher. During this time, I have worked alongside Head Coach Greg Rodriguez and we have had a great deal of improvement and success with the program. This started with changing and solidifying the culture of the swim team to be more inclusive, while still maintaining a high standard for all swimmers. The past couple seasons, DHS as had two of the strongest finishes at the League and Sectional levels in school history, while also sending several swimmers to the State Championship. Prior to Dublin High School, I coached for Briarhill Swim Team in Dublin, CA for 7 years. I also swam four years at the collegiate level at the University of Redlands. I am ready to dive right into the 2019 season with the Sea Devils!
