Swim Camp
The Danville Sea Devils Swim Camp is focused on fostering a fun, positive atmosphere for swimmers to develop stroke technique and a love for swimming. Swim camp will focus on further developing stroke technique for all 4 strokes as well as focusing on race technique and endurance. Each practice will be 45 minutes long and will be tailored to each practice group based on the needs determined by the coaches.
Note: Due to the current county regulations we are limited in the number of campers in a given session. The first 48 campers registered will be guaranteed a slot, any campers registered after the initial 48 will be put on a waiting list in the order they were registered. We will offer additional sessions and will announce those dates as soon as possible.

Camper Eligibility
Due to social distancing requirements we are not allowed to have any coaches in the water. Swimmers must be completely water safe and able to complete 1 full lap unassisted. Safety is our number one priority for all swimmers and coaches!
County regulations require campers to only participate in 1 camp at a time. This means that campers can not participate in any other camps (day camps, daycare or other sports) while participating in the Sea Devils Camp. If you choose to participate in another camp you must complete a 10 day quarantine window between camps.
Practice Cohorts
Campers will be organized in cohorts of no more than 14 participants. Campers must remain with their cohort for the entire session. Due to county regulations we can not allow campers to move practice groups to accommodate scheduling conflicts. Cohorts will be organized by coaches after registration is complete and will be based on skill level. We will make every effort we can to keep families together however, we can not guarantee time slots. Cohorts need to be organized to focus on safety as we can not have any in the water coaches due to social distancing requirements. Each cohort will be assigned a coach which will remain the same for the entire session. At the conclusion of each cohort the assigned coach will sanitize all high touch areas including restrooms with EPA approved disinfectant.
What to Expect During Your Practice Time
1. Every effort should be made to drop off and pick up campers at the start and end of each practice time. If you need to walk your camper in you may walk them to the external pool fence.
